A downloadable crossword puzzle

A crossword puzzle made collaboratively by Minhs2 and frumpy4 for the CoNDOR community!
The puzzle's theme is the same as the game jam's: TEN LETTERS

Available in 2 difficulties to play in browser alone or with friends on Down for a Cross (DfaC), as a printable .pdf, or as an .ipuz file.

We would recommend to try Hard difficulty first. It's intended to be decently challenging, so you can try solving it with others on DfaC if you're struggling to solve it alone. Note that the 2 difficulties use the exact same letter grid, the only difference is that the clues are significantly more straightforward.

Tab - Skip to next clue

Space bar - Switch clue direction

Arrow keys - Switch clue direction or traverse square by square

Hold shift - Rebus (explained below)

Period - Toggle pencil (explained below)

REBUS: You can put multiple characters into a box by holding the Shift key. Multiple letters in a box is a requirement for some puzzles, but may also used if there are multiple possibilities that you are unsure about.

CHECK and REVEAL: If you're completely stumped on the puzzle, these two will help you out. Check will mark your answers in blue if that square is correct and red if it is incorrect. Reveal will simply give you the answer.

There are multiple options, you can check/reveal the current square, word, or entire puzzle.

PENCIL and AUTOCHECK: Pencil will cause you to write in a lighter shade of gray. The shortcut for activating this is the period key. This is purely cosmetic and is a good marker for if you're not entirely sure about certain squares.

Autocheck will instantly check everything you input, which can be a more convenient way of checking, but only resort to it when you're stuck.
